About the product: Rapeseed cake
Rapeseed cake is produced during rapeseed oil production and makes efficient use of the rapeseed crop. It is high in energy and protein, and its nutritional value is comparable to soybean cake.
Typical specification
- Crude protein: approx. 40%
- Fat: 6–9%
- Per 1 kg: approx. 12.5 MJ metabolisable energy, 265–280 g digestible protein
Properties
- protein rich in essential amino acids — helps balance the diet of livestock and poultry
- fat with unsaturated fatty acids important for animal growth
- supports the growth and development of young animals and milk yield
Applications
Feed for pigs (rearing and fattening of young animals), cattle and poultry. For laying hens, breeder hens and turkeys rapeseed cake should not exceed 10% of the diet.
